Those who know me know I haven't got a clue about cars, absolutely zero, zilch, nada, which when you think about it is a bit worrying now that I'm driving around in L.A.
However, the most important thing for me has always been what colour a car is.
Imagine my delight when we popped to The Grove on Saturday afternoon and discovered there was a free vintage car show -
The Gilmore Heritage Auto Show at the Farmer's Market.
Again, not something you'd ever expect to find me at or for me to enjoy, but as you can see from these pictures, they were pretty stunning classic American cars, and most importantly, extremely colourful and fabulous!
So here's a selection of vintage cars from the Auto Show, some of them look like something out of a Hannah-Barbera Wacky Races cartoon that Penelope Pitstop would drive.
Here's also a selection of car hood ornaments which are classically sleek and sexy!
And here are even more lovely vintage American cars and classic wood paneled Woody's...
How can you not love these cars? Maybe before long I'll actually care about more than just the colour. But don't get your hopes up...
