Dog-Blog: How do you cool a hot puppy? Give him a chilly bone...

Cooper has always been a fan of ice-cubes, they've helped him through his various (on-going) chewing phases and so imagine my delight when we discovered a fab new toy for him the other day, the Chilly Bone.
Cooper and his Chilly Bone
Basically it's a chew toy that you soak in water and put in the freezer and 'hey presto', you get an ice cold chew for your puppy.

I'm not sure how hygienic it will be or how long it will actually last, but Cooper seems to like it and gets very excited when it comes out of the freezer.

That doesn't mean he's not a fan of his other chews mind you.  He still loves his rawhide chew bone, as you can see from this picture.
Still enjoying his rawhide bone too
There's not much other news to report at the moment.  We're slowly getting Cooper used to the outside world and struggling to get him to poop and piddle outdoors, but I'm sure that will come with time.

With that in mind, maybe it's time for walkies...

I've not seen a Chilly Bone before, but it makes a lot of sense!

It's amazing what you can find in those pet stores if you spend enough time there (puppy permitting).
