Apparently Cooper is, as you can see from these photos. I'm not sure how he could possibly be afraid of such a cute puppy card, although I suppose he is only a puppy and still has a lot of growing up to do yet.
He was sent this lovely card from an admirer in London and he came over all 'wallflower' on us and started barking and whimpering at the card. Someone must have told him we had considered a chocolate Labrador before he came into our lives - maybe he was worried this was his replacement?
As you can see it's that age old battle - yellow vs. chocolate lab.
He is such a funny pup to watch at times. The other day when we were out for one of his new walks in the WEHO neighbourhood he sniffed a cactus for the first time. I don't think he'll be doing that again any time soon.
Cooper also discovered the joy of socks the other day.
Chewing them, gumming them, slobbering over them and running away and hiding with them.
You'd think he didn't have any other toys. On Saturday we did make it to Pet Smart in Culver City to buy him a selection of new toys to play with, plus an old favourite! Yes, let me introduce Mr. Fluffy Jr.
Cooper was very excited to see his 'old' pal back. Let's see how long this one lasts.
Yes, he's a very spoiled puppy.
But we wouldn't have it any other way.
At least we know he's a happy puppy and that's all that counts (that and being snapped up by some Hollywood producer to star in his own blockbuster film and earn us millions).
On another note, don't forget to vote for your favourite summer movie so far - if I've missed your favourite, don't be afraid to post it in a comment.
I've no doubt there'll be more puppy exploits in the future, so come back soon...
