The other night I went to see The Day The Earth Stood Still at the ArcLight Hollywood and saw a movie costume display for the new Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet film, Revolutionary Road, that I thought I'd share with you.
Plus here are some more fantastic costumes from new movies Doubt, The Wrestler and Twilight and you can also find a further nine months worth of film prop and costumes displays from the ArcLight Hollywood here on Jason in Hollywood.
Costumes from Revolutionary Road
This movie reunites Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio for the first time since the phenomenally successful Titanic. The film takes place in a Connecticut suburb in the mid-1950's.
Suit worn by Leonardo DiCaprio.
Dress worn by Kate Winslet.
Costumes from the movie Doubt
Set in 1964 in the Bronx, this movie is about a nun who suspects that a priest may be molesting a young black student. The film stars Meryl Streep (Mamma Mia), Philip Seymour Hoffman (Capote) and Amy Adams (Enchanted).
Costumes from the film The Wrestler
This costume is from the new movie starring Mickey Rourke as Randy "The Ram" Robinson, a professional wrestler from the late 80's, which has garnered much critical acclaim.
Costumes from the movie Twilight
These outfits were worn by the main characters Bella and Edward, played respectively by Kristen Stewart (Panic Room) and Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).
Hopefully you've enjoyed these glimpses behind-the-scenes of four new movies, that's just part of the 'Adventures in Entertainment' promise of my blog.
