On Friday night Cooper welcomed a new chair into our condo apartment and 'touch wood' it's still in one piece.
To be fair, Cooper doesn't chew furniture anymore since he's teethed, it's more the copious amounts of slobber and his claws scratching the soft leather that we're more concerned about.
But we're fairly practical people and we know what living with a dog is like now, so if it gets scratched not to worry, it's only a chair.
I thought he'd sniff it more, but so far he's seemed slightly disinterested in it (keeping to his beanbag and sofa perch), aside from squeezing past to get one of his many toys from his toy basket.
I'm sure it won't be long before he claims it as his throne though, it's only a matter of time.
Last night Cooper kept the chair company whilst we had some drinks at The Abbey with some fellow Brits who were in town on business and later we're off to the cinema to see Clint Eastwood's new film, Gran Torino (I'm trying to get all the potential Oscar winners in before the 22nd February).
For now it's off to enjoy the L.A. sunshine...
