Doggie style...

Our pup Cooper is always in fashion, no more so after an operation, when he gets to show off all his fancy new headgear.
Proud Labrador Cooper
He managed to break his first transparent plastic cone in less than a day, which wasn't the most appealing fashion statement once he'd slobbered all over it and rummaged about in the undergrowth.
Next the inflatable blue collar lasted all of two minutes and was easily dispatched with a paw and a bit of rolling about on the floor.
Trouble loves Cooper
His latest headgear may make him look like an extra from the cast of the movie Doubt, maybe an apprentice nun, but it is the chicest of the lot and allows him much more freedom of movement.

Playful 11 month Labrador
His 'Comfy Cone' also has a nice reflective trim which catches the light and will make early morning and late evening walks safer with all the traffic whizzing through the local West Hollywood streets.
Hooded pup with new toy
Now that Cooper has been neutered we've been warned that Labradors have a tendency to put on weight, so we'll have to keep an eye on that, otherwise he'll not be able to keep pulling off the latest doggie fashions.

I'm sure that once he gets back up to Runyon Canyon and has a few trips to the beach he'll be fighting fit again though.
Cooper's new headgear
Maybe now that he's used to his collar fashion he'll be more amenable to wearing his Halloween costume this year.
Playful pup
And speaking of costumes, the Watchmen movie costumes that I photographed on display at ArcLight Hollywood and Sherman Oaks have helped to deliver the highest daily visitor traffic to Jason in Hollywood yesterday, since it launched over a year ago.
MIschievous pup
I'm sure these new pictures of Cooper and his exploits will also help attract some new visitors and satisfy existing fans at the same time.
Hooded happy Cooper
Don't worry Cooper, you'll only need to wear your cone head for another day or two (although it is hilarious to take you for a walk at the moment, as all you can see is this black hood bobbing along in front of you).

Cooper may not be ready for the fashion 'catwalk' quite yet (no matter how high his collar is), but I know he certainly loves his 'dog walk' every day...
