Jason in Hollywood survives two years of living in L.A...

Or as a friend suggested, Jason in Hollywood has 'thrived' rather than simply 'survived' these past two years living in Los Angeles.

So today is a day to celebrate the good times and look forward to even more adventures to come here in Southern California.
Frisbee Cooper Sycamore Cove
Aside from the wonderful sunshine, beautiful beaches, spectacular sunsets and easy going lifestyle, the most important and rewarding experience of living in L.A. has been raising our adorable yellow Labrador Cooper.

The sleepless nights and accidents on the carpet of puppy training are long forgotten and the memories that stand out are fun times in the swimming pool...

Healthy hikes up Runyon Canyon with great views of L.A. (just like this one, which was actually featured on a First Dog Barking email newsletter today!)...

But surprisingly it's not been all about Cooper. There have been beautiful sunsets to inspire us...

In our time here a new President has been sworn in, the economy has collapsed around the world, we've ridden in the back of ambulances and experienced the American healthcare system firsthand (and paid for it too), survived earthquakes and wildfires, and even had our share of celebrity sightings (Mario Lopez, Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy and Teri Hatcher to name but a few).

We've also ventured further afield, both up and down the California coast and explored the delights of Huntington Beach, Palm Springs, Laguna Beach, Malibu, Ventura County, Santa Barbara, Cambria, Carmel and San Francisco.

You know it really is hard to boil down two years of your life into pictures, but never fear, there's over 625 blog entries here at Jason in Hollywood to amuse you if you feel so inclined, plus many more to come.

I've thoroughly enjoyed chronicling our adventures to date here on America's West Coast, so here's to a fabulous future...
