Yesterday we had a gay old time at Drag Queen Bingo at Hamburger Mary's in West Hollywood, in honour of one of my L.A. Marathon training mates who is also raising money for the AIDS LifeCycle.
Actress of stage and screen, Tracie Thoms (star of the movie version of RENT and TV's Cold Case fame) was on hand to help with the Bingo ball-calling.
She was also wonderful last year in Neil Patrick Harris's production of RENT at the Hollywood Bowl where she reprised her role as 'Joanne'.
All the money raised last night goes to benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center, for which the cyclists complete a seven day, 600 mile ride for the charity event.
Along with my fellow T2: Team To End AIDS running mates we had a great time, eating, drinking and playing bingo for charity (and our table even won a couple of prizes).
Our drag host Willam was hilarious and kept everyone entertained, from her cheeky outfit to her quick wit.
Let's hope lots of money was raised, as it was a packed house and a fun crowd.
