The house that David built...

Or that should be the House of Davids. Some call the former home of Nat King Cole garish, but I think this house in Hancock Park with its nineteen statues of Michelangelo's David is a camp classic.

Youngwood Court puts Liberace's house to shame with its sheer audacity and makes for a great local spectacle.

Neighbours and local residents don't agree and you can see their point if you're not a fan of statuary.

It is a bit OTT, but let's face it, it could have a been a hell of a lot worse. Imagine if the owner had a penchant for garden gnomes.

If you want to take a look for yourself you'll find this spectacular display on the corner of 3rd and Murfield Street. Apparently it looks even more fun at Christmas, when the house gets a festive makeover.

I can't wait to see it come December...

Reminds me of that house on Sunset where some sheik did the same thing, except he painting in genitals on the statues. Someone eventually burned the house down.
