Recently I'd noticed that Peter Shire's colourful geometric sculptures along Santa Monica Boulevard, near Doheny Drive, had been moved.

Then the other day whilst I was waiting for my car to have its smog check, I spotted them further down the street near another fairly recent public art addition to West Hollywood's landscape, his restored Surfboard Tiki sculpture from 1987.
Apparently Peter Shire restored his work in 2010, with funding provided by the Ramada Hotel, where it sits outside next to Primo Bistro, in memory of Bernard Zimmer for his contribution to West Hollywood and the design world.
That's one thing I will say about West Hollywood it is a pretty city to live in, from the well manicured trees and shrubbery, to great outdoor art, like the On Route-66 Lights, to keep things interesting.

I wonder what new sights will appear in the neighbourhood in the coming months...
