GuitarTown's disappointing graffiti guitar...

To date the Sunset Strip's GuitarTown has produced some great outdoor public art, but this latest guitar design is sadly a bit of a disappointment.

Found just above the William S. Hart Park and opposite the Saddle Ranch Chop House along Sunset Boulevard this graffiti guitar is hardly worth displaying.

The plaque that came with the giant Gibson Les Paul is missing so it's hard to even know who's responsible, but it pales in comparison with the other artists who have put a lot of effort into their designs.

Art, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder, but for me this guitar is just messy. For far better creative examples of the GuitarTown initiative check out the Stevie Nicks Bella Donna tribute guitar, Kiss Dressed to Kill homage guitar and previous 2010 GuitarTown sculptures along Sunset Strip.

If anyone knows the artist or name of this design, please do let me know...
