Eye-catching TV billboards around L.A. in November 2013...

The fall TV season may be in full swing, but there's still a few replacement series to come and some returning favourites with billboards gracing the city skyline in the month of November.

TV billboards
American Music Awards 2013 glittering lips billboard
On of my favourites really standing out this month was this billboard for the annual AMA's and their special glittering lips billboard. Be sure to head over to my Daily Billboard blog to see a video of this awards billboard gleaming in the California sunshine.
Giant Bonnie and Clyde billboard
Meanwhile I'm still bemused by the fact that three cable networks (Lifetime, A&E and History) are airing the same TV event at the same time, but they continue to support their remake of Bonnie & Clyde with this giant billboard along L.A.'s Sunset Strip. He may be holding the gun, but looks like she's pulling the trigger.
Mob City series premiere billboard
Speaking of guns, this familiar looking pose is given a 1940's twist for Frank Darabont's new crime noir, Mob City. Similar to the true events that inspired the Gangster Squad movie, this special three week TV event on TNT chronicles the shady battle between L.A. crime boss 'Mikey Cohen' and L.A.P.D. Police Chief 'William Parker' and the people that get caught in the crossfire.
Giant True Detective teaser billboard
Keeping to crime, and HBO teased us this month with giant billboards for their new cop anthology series, True Detective, which will star new actors and storylines each season, kicking off with an all-star cast of Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey in January 2014.
Eagleheart Paradise Rising season 3 billboard
And Adult Swim's 'Walker, Texas Ranger' parody returns this month for a third season with a brand new subtitle, Paradise Rising, for a season long connected story.
The Wrong Mans series premiere Hulu billboard
More comedy with a criminal twist comes in the form of Hulu's new original series, The Wrong Mans, which has already aired in the U.K. but finds new life on U.S. screens. In the show, normal office workers James Corden and Matthew Baynton become mixed up in a deadly conspiracy when they mistakenly answer a phone call after a horrific car crash.
Giant Sarah Silverman We Are Miracles billboard
One of the funniest billboards in the skies of L.A. this month belonged to Sarah Silverman, with her giant-sized chimptastic ad for her first HBO comedy special, We Are Miracles.
Aziz Ansari Buried Alive billboard
And speaking of animals in ads, this fun deer in the headlights ad creative for Aziz Ansari's Buried Alive comedy special for Netflix sees the Parks and Recreation star reflecting about relationships, romance and parenthood after turning 30.
Ground Floor series premiere billboard
In Ground Floor, Pitch Perfect's Skylar Astin stars in a new romantic comedy take on Romeo and Juliet in modern day corporate America.
Kirstie sitcom series premiere billboard
And speaking of new sitcoms, after some great moves on the dance floor in two seasons of Dancing with the Stars, Kirstie Alley gets a new comedy show on TV Land. The new series reunites her with fellow Cheers co-star Rhea Perlman, joined by Seinfeld star Michael Richards.
Adam Devines House Party series premiere billboard
Meanwhile another Pitch Perfect film star (and Workaholics star), Adam Devine, gets a new series of sketches and stand-up comedians on Comedy Central.
@Midnight with Chris Hardwick billboard
Also on Comedy Central, Chris Hardwick hosts a new comedy quiz show, @midnight, which sees three celebrity contestants in a game of social media and pop culture's funniest moments.
Greatest Event in TV History billboard
This month Adam Scott and friends were back on Adult Swim with another attempt at creating The Greatest Event in Television History, this time with an homage to the 80's TV sitcom, Too Close for Comfort.
American Horror Story Coven billboard
Even though we're well into the third season of American Horror Story, I couldn't help but share this fab snake ad creative again in this squarer billboard format for Coven, which is shaping up to be the best twisty-turney season yet.
Originals season 1 billboard
From witches to vampires, and The Vampire Diaries spin-off series The Originals has managed to survive the cull of new shows and secured a full season order of episodes.
Almost Human season 1 billboard
And from the supernatural to the futuristic and Fox tries its hand with Almost Human, about a human cop and his android partner, which hopefully will be a nice slice of sci-fi to replace the much-missed Fringe.
Rick and Morty special crashed UFO billboard installation
And finally if science fiction is your thing, then you'll love this special crashed UFO billboard installation along Sunset Boulevard for Adult Swim's new animated comedy series, Rick and Morty (which is inspired by the mad scientist and teenage kid duo of 'Doc' and 'Marty McFly' from the Back to the Future movies).

I love it when I come across a special 3D billboard like this one and if you want to see more great examples, visit Daily Billboard for more cool billboard advertising which really captures your imagination.
