New season fashion billboards stylishly gracing the skies of L.A. in March 2014....

Spring is in the air and so too are an abundance of new season fashion billboards. L.A.'s skyline in March is literally crammed with new ads for high end labels and new trendsetters, here's a smattering of billboards selling underwear, jeans, shoes, fresh prints and more besides.

Fashion billboards
Banana Republic True Outfitters Spring 2014 car billboard
One of the most noticeable ad campaigns this month by the sheer number of billboards has to be that from Banana Republic, who seems to be trying to capture the spirit of Spring.
Banana Republic True Outfitters Spring 2014 bicycle billboard
Cruising in open top cars, taking a bike ride or lazing in the grass is all the rage in this 'True Outfitters' campaign highlighting different relationships.
Banana Republic Nate Berkus True Outfitters Spring 2014 billboard
The billboard ads also feature TV personality and celebrity interior designers Nate Berkus and his fiancé Jeremiah Brent.
Banana Republic True Outfitters Golden Gate Bridge billboard
It's nice to see the international clothing retail brand include a same-sex couple in its advertising mix and shows times they are a changing for the better.

And if you like this ad, be sure to also take a look at Gap's gay couple billboard from 2012, which featured Broadway Tony nominee Rory O'Malley and his boyfriend Gerold Schroeder.
Very Perry Ellis Albert Reed Spring 2014 billboard
Another male model billboard which has a fun in-your-face creative was this Very Perry Ellis ad featuring Albert Reed.
Burberry Spring 2014 fashion billboard
Speaking of male models and Burberry's latest ad campaign features a bevy of bright young things.
Saks Fifth Avenue DBar billboard
Saks Fifth Avenue was advertising their underground denim and drink DBar offering with this male model ad creative.
Calvin Klein show yours mens underwear billboard
And Calvin Klein is never one to shy away from shock value and this risqué 'show your's' billboard, along the appropriately titled Sunset Strip, helped kick off their social media campaign to encourage exhibitionists to show off their iconic Calvin Klein underwear waistband in selfies with the hashtag #mycalvins.
Guess Jeans Danielle Knudson Spring 2014 billboard
Meanwhile Guess Jeans also know that old adage that sex sells and never have a problem with their models showing a bit of female flesh, like this striking beach billboard featuring Danielle Knudson.
Giant Guess Lingerie Samantha Hoopes S14 billboard Sunset Strip
Plus further west along the Sunset Strip Samantha Hoopes has been super-sized to show off the brand's new season lingerie offering, although the funny thing is you can't really see any of the underwear, just the model's face.
Giant Lucky Brand Jeans Raquel Zimmerman S14 billboard Sunset Strip
Speaking of giant-sized ad creatives and Lucky Brand Jeans are back along Sunset Boulevard this season with a massive ad featuring Raquel Zimmerman.
Lucky Brand Jeans Raquel Zimmerman David Gandy S14 billboard
Plus male model David Gandy provides the manly scruff and head pillow for Raquel to recline against.
In the meantime another couple, NBA player Chandler Parsons and swimsuit model Ashley Sky, get closer for Buffalo David Bitton jeans in this black and white shoreline ad creative.
Another denim brand with lots of billboards large and small around L.A. this month is Adriano Goldschmied with a variety of arresting cornfield creatives.
DL 1961 Denim billboards
Another jeans brand advertising outdoors in March, for the first time I've seen their ads, were these DL 1961 Premium Denim billboards. It begs the question how many more denim brands can the market support.
Prada ready-to-wear Spring 2014 billboard
In the world of high fashion, Prada was back in the skies this month with a new ad creative for its ready-to-wear collection and a variety of handbags.
Tom Ford clutch shoe Spring 2014 billboard
Another luxury brand showing off its women's accessories and killer shoes this month was Tom Ford.
MaxMara Timeless Jennifer Garner Spring 2014 billboard
Meanwhile actress Jennifer Garner continued to bring the timeless style (and handbags) for MaxMara in this new simple, yet elegant billboard.
Zendaya Diamond PacSun billboard
And speaking of celebrity endorsements, Disney teen pop star Zendaya had this cool ad creative for her clothing line with Diamond Supply Co. on sale at PacSun.
John Varvatos Kiss billboard
Whilst John Varvatos went with some old school music legends, the rock band Kiss, for his tailored men's suits and this ad stands out even more with the juxtaposition of the fashion brand's sleek suits and the rockers iconic face paint.
Give me Aldo Spring 2014 billboard
This month shoe brand Aldo continued its 'Give me Aldo' campaign with new creatives for Spring 2014.
DSW Prove your shoe love Spring 2014 billboard
And Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW) had this fun shoe lover billboard at Hollywood & Highland.
Vera Wang Spring 2014 eyewear billboard
Vera Wang continued her Spring campaign this month with a new creative focusing on her eyewear.
Vince womenswear Spring 2014 billboard
And that designer wasn't the only one opting for a predominantly white creative as it seems fashion brand Vince, had the same idea for its womenswear range.
Loft Life is in the details Spring 2014 billboard
And Loft wanted you to know 'life is in the details' with their own white creative, obviously it's all about simple and light ads for Spring.
Gap Lived in Spring 2014 billboard
Meanwhile Gap debuted its ad for its 'Lived in' collection, which looks a little drab in my humble opinion.
Joe's Jeans Just a perfect day wedding dress billboard
Joe's Jeans was one of only fashion brands this month to have a little fun with its advertising, with this fun wedding dress ad creative being real headturner.
Hale Bob Spring 2014 billboard
Fortunately there were some fashion brands willing to bring the colour this season, like Hale Bob with their unique prints to help women stand out from the crowd, which is essential in the -look-at-me culture of L.A.

As you can see the city skyline has been like a crowded Paris catwalk this month, let's see if the trend continues into April.

Until then, be sure to stick around for more eclectic round-ups for TV, movies, drinks and lifestyle billboards in March 2014.

Stay trendy...
