Technology, travel, drinks and other lifestyle billboards around L.A. in April 2015...

Even though I've been away from L.A. for almost two weeks this month (in the U.K. to run the London Marathon), I still managed to capture a whole cornucopia of lifestyle billboards filling the sprawling city skyline. Here's an eclectic collection of technology, travel, drinks and more lifestyle billboard ads grabbing my attention in April.

Technology and telecommunications billboards
Snapchat logo billboard
In the world of social media, photo messaging app Snapchat has been raising its profile with these bright yellow billboards featuring the brand's iconic ghost logo. This ad was spied along Sunset Plaza and similar billboards have been spied in other U.S. cities like San Francisco and New York.
TMobile Americas fastest 4GLTE network billboard
Meanwhile T-Mobile was back along the Sunset Strip in a big way with this fun and vibrant motorbike creative highlighting its fast network speed.
Giant Galaxy Note 4 billboard
These past few weeks Samsung was also showing off it's new smartphone tech like the Galaxy Note 4, which was replaced by another giant-sized billboard for the sleek Galaxy S6 Edge.
Giant Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge billboard
Speaking of massive billboards, Apple continued to dominate the city skyline with its Shot on iPhone 6 outdoor ad campaign.
Giant Shot on iPhone 6 sunflowers billboard
Two of my personal favourites so far are these striking sunflower and black and white corridor creatives.
Shot on iphone 6 Hattan A billboard

Drinks billboards
Absolut Spark up your night billboard
In the world of alcoholic beverages Absolut Vodka was putting the spark into the skies with this billboard for its new limited edition illuminated bottle.
Don Julio Tequila have passion everything billboard
Meanwhile Don Julio was getting very passionate about tequila along the Sunset Strip.
Corona Extra Same beach New can billboard
And life was still a beach for Corona Extra, but this time the refreshing beer (which goes ever so well with lime) was back in a new handy can rather than a frosty bottle.
805 Firestone brewing beer biker billboard
And also in the world of brewing, Firestone Walker had this easy rider motorbike creative for its 805 ale.

Auto billboards
Audi A6 Brute Intelligence billboard
Meanwhile Audi refreshed its Sunset Strip ad location with this striking billboard for its sleek new Audi A6.

Household billboards
More dancing less dust Homejoy billboard
And often when it comes to advertising you just have to keep it simple, like with these witty Homejoy cleaning services billboards. If you can afford it, do you really want to spend your spare time dusting, scrubbing and cleaning when you could be doing something funner.

Business and financial billboards
What's the next big thing? billboard
This month the Sunset Strip had this cryptic 'What's the next big thing?' billboard which cleverly references Steve Jobs to help draw you in, but even though they must have spent a fortune on this ad, the Wayne E. Miller consulting website that it references isn't that sophisticated or well designed.
HR Block Your refund is calling billboard
And as April was tax month it was no surprise to see a few ads like this fun creative for H&R Block, although not everyone was lucky enough to get a refund this tax year.

Education billboards
Green favorite color Oregon University billboard
In the world of academia the University of Oregon was advertising to attract new students.

Adult billboards
Stop vegetable abuse Shop Hustler billboard
Once in a while a quirky billboard pops up in the skies of L.A., just like this hilarious 'Stop vegetable abuse' billboard for adult store, Hustler Hollywood.

Arts billboards
Bizarre life Taschen Gallery art exhibit billboard
And that wasn't the only odd billboard turning heads this month, as this special feet extension billboard for Taschen Gallery's new fetish art exhibit for Elmer Batters and Eric Stanton also stood out.
Raleigh Studios Photo Contemporary exhibit billboard
Plus the Raleigh Studios Hollywood had this striking billboard for its latest contemporary photo exhibition.

Travel and tourism billboards
Giant Scottsdale tourism bilboard
This was also a big month for travel, tourism, things to do and places to see billboards, like this giant-sized ad creative to help portray Scottsdale, Arizona in a fresh new light on the side of the Mondrian Hotel.
Dallas Big things happen here dog frisbee billboard
Scottsdale wasn't the only U.S. destination marketing itself to Los Angelenos this month, as Dallas was also trying to attract visitors in a 'big' way with this cute frisbee-catching dog creative.
Getty Villa original chiseled abs billboard
Another tourist attraction trying to change perceptions his month is The Getty Villa in Malibu, with this witty 'chiseled abs' billboard.
Renaissance Pleasure Faire billboard 2015
And it's that time of year when the Renaissance Pleasure Faire is back for lovers of Medieval Times.
Great Horror Campout 2015 billboard
Plus for horror fans and those who want an experiential fun time the Great Horror Campout is back to terrify participants.
Disrupting Vegas cliche Delano Hotel billboard
As always there were plenty of billboards advertising the hotels, hotties and nightlife to be found in Las Vegas, like the Delano Hotel and the ultra pool party at the MGM Grand.
Dada Life Wet Republic MGM Grand Las Vegas billboard
Air France was just one of the international airlines trying to tempt passersby with shopping trips to Paris and 1,000's of other destinations.
AirFrance Royal shopping Paris billboard
AirFrance Rendez-vous in Paris billboard
Plus U.S. domestic operator Virgin America was highlighting its inflight entertainment on its LAX to Dallas route.
Virgin America Less lone more star billboard
And from flying to getting around locally, if you're not using Uber than Lyft is the other ride app to get you from A to B.
Lyft Love traffic jams billboard
Although is it me or has this on-demand ride sharing service dropped its giant pink moustache on the front of its cars?

Health and fitness billboards
Equinox gym woman buzz haircut billboard
Luxury gym Equinox continued to advertise in the city streets with daring creatives, although Equinox no longer makes me do anything as I relinquished my membership after they kept hiking my annual fee year-on-year.
Trust Him Free HIV test billboard
And speaking of destroying trust, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation was asking passersby if they trusted their sexual partner this month and encouraging them to take a free HIV test if not.

As you can see there's been lots of interesting ads trying to catch your eye this month, let's hope May is just as fruitful.
