Fab fashion billboards turning heads in New York in early November 2015...

When I think of New York, I always think of all the fashion you see on the city streets and that's also reflected in the sheer abundance of fashion advertising filling Manhattan's skies. Here's a collection of the stylish billboards I spied whilst walking the streets after running 26.2 miles in the 2015 New York Marathon. Believe me it was certainly no catwalk.

Fashion billboards
H&M Balmain collection billboard Times Square
First up is this giant billboard for the Balmain capsule collection from H&M spotted in Times Square.
H&M Balmain collection billboards NYC
Plus more billboards for the clothes spotted in the trendy SoHo neighbourhood, which I can't help but think has been influenced by the popularity of the Kardashians who can always be seen wearing gaudy Balmain garments.
Giant AEO Flex/Denim billboard NYC
Another billboard which caught my eye along 9th Avenue and West 33rd Street was this somersault ad creative for American Eagle Outfitters Flex/Denim offering.

There's a lot of construction happening around this ad site, so I'm not sure how much longer it will be there, but it's where I saw my favourite Harry Potter movie billboard back in November 2010, so I always walk by just in case there's something interesting to see.
Coach FW15 billboard High Line NYC
Another place I always love to visit whilst in New York is the High Line Park, the old train track that's been converted into a beautiful green sanctuary on Manhattan's East Side. That's where I spied this Fall/Winter Coach billboard from.
Diesel New York City broke us up billboard
And just around the corner in the Meatpacking District was this super-sized Diesel billboard, with a tongue-in-cheek 'New York City broke us up' tagline, which works really well with the split billboard hoarding.
Kendall Jenner Calvin Klein underwear billboard
Another giant-sized billboard along Houston Street in SoHo was this black and white Calvin Klein underwear ad creative featuring Kendall Jenner (those reality TV stars get everywhere).
Stuart Weitzman Gisele Bundchen FW15 shoes billboard
Directly across the street designer shoe brand Stuart Weitzman was showcasing three Fall/Winter looks modeled by the beautiful Gisele Bundchen.

If you're a fan of the luxury footwear brand and the supermodel, be sure to also check out these other Gisele Bundchen Stuart Weitzman billboards from the streets of L.A.
Giant Vince Holidays 2015 billboards NYC
Meanwhile not far away, the fashion brand Vince was bringing some joy for the Holiday season with this billboard duo.
Theory F/W 2015 billboard NYC
And next to those ads on Lafayette Street, Theory was delivering some sharp style with this black and white ad creative.
Net A Porter red dress billboard
Meanwhile above the streets of NoHo, Net-A-Porter was bringing a splash of vibrant colour for the start of the Holidays party season.
Burberry FW 2015 billboard NYC
And in the Meatpacking District, British luxury brand Burberry was showing off its signature plaids and trench coats for the colder weather.
Filson outdoor clothing dog billboard
And speaking of colder temperatures, outdoor clothing brand Filson had this husky dog creative to get its message across.
Dress Barn FW 2015 billboard NYC
Back in the bustling tourist trap of Times Square, Dress Barn continued its ad campaign to change people's perception about the retail brand, like these Dress Barn billboards from the Sunset Strip in L.A.
Revo Bono Buy vision Give sight eyewear billboard
And U2's Bono was modeling the sunglasses he's collaborated with Revo on to help fellow sufferers of glaucoma and other eyesight problems, a portion of the sales go to the 'Buy vision, give sight' charity campaign.
Movado watch billboard
Another ad which stood out in New York was this watch billboard for Movado as I thought the design was interesting, which isn't always the case with timepiece brands.
Skechers Performance 26.2 miles of greatness billboard NYC
And finally Skechers Performance had this billboard near the Javits Center, where participants in the New York Marathon went for their race packet pick up at the expo. The footwear brand obviously sees competitive running as a growth area as they'll also be sponsoring the 2016 L.A. Marathon.

Sadly the skies of New York weren't as clear as previous visits, but you can get the idea of the wealth of fashion billboards filling the city streets.

If you like these ads, be sure to check out these New York fashion billboards from September 2012 and these cool fashion and lifestyle billboards from November 2011.

Plus stay tuned for another snapshot of all the lifestyle billboards spotted around the Big Apple in early November 2015...
