Only two short weeks are left before the Emmy nominations are announced on July 14, 2016, but there's been some fierce competition in these skies of L.A. to grab TV Academy voters attention this past month and stand out from all the other regular TV, movie, music, fashion and lifestyle billboards. Here's a collection of the Emmy ads from a whole host of different networks, studios and channels.
Emmy FYC billboards for The Night Manager.
As you can imagine there were plenty of other Netflix Emmy consideration billboards, so be sure to click through and check them all out at my Daily Billboard Blog.
2016 HBO Emmy consideration billboards packing the city skyline.
Emmy ads for The X-Files revival and The Last Man on Earth's sophomore season.
Take for example Aziz Ansari's freshman comedy, which streams on Netflix. Make sure you check out the similarities between this billboards and Netflix's Emmy FYC ads for Master of None.
2016 Emmy consideration billboards, like Superstore, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and more.
Emmy FYC billboards from Hulu, like this example for The Path's debut season featuring Michelle Monaghan.
Starz Emmy consideration billboards for Power and Ash vs. Evil Dead.
And WGN America's historical underground railroad slavery drama was hoping for some acclaim for the cast of Underground.
Amazon's Emmy consideration billboards were snapped at the end of May, but this one for The Man in the High Castle was photographed at the start of June. This company outdoor campaign was one of my favourites and also featured the likes of Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle and Catastrophe in the crowded city skyline.
If you like this fun feline ad, you can also check out last year's example and more 2015 Emmy consideration billboards.
It goes without saying I've been busy this past month, but the onslaught is starting to subside at last. Now all I have to do is wait for the nominations to be announced and the crazy Emmy billboard blitz will begin anew.
Bring it on, I can't wait...
