Earlier this year I ventured Downtown to visit the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising's annual movie costume design exhibit, which showcased a wonderful array of garments from films from the previous twelve months including Oscar nominees, and earlier this week I returned for the TV costume design equivalent.
Game of Thrones, Marvel's Agent Carter, The Man in the High Castle, Defiance, The Walking Dead and Heroes Reborn to name but a few.
There's so much to see and it's such a well presented exhibit, so if you're at a loose end this Summer pop in and take a look (then treat yourself to some lunch and a sneaky glass of wine Downtown too).
If you like the look of this special TV exhibition, be sure to check out all the movie costumes that were on display back in the Spring, including from Mad Max: Fury Road, Cinderella, Crimson Peak, Trumbo, The Danish Girl, Suffragette, Brooklyn and many more.
This may not be the last time I sneak a peak at all these costumes, as I'm sure some of my friends will like to see this brilliant exhibit too...
