The beginning of the year is always a bit slow on the big screen, but I always love this time of year as it's awards season when all the Oscar hopefuls also battle it out in the city skyline to get voters attention. Here's a collection of the new theatrical releases, awards consideration, new films streaming and music billboards trying to turn heads around the streets of L.A. this January 2018.
