April 2018's cool collection of movie and music billboards around L.A...

This April was a bumper month for movie billboards with lots of new blockbusters coming to the big screen, plus original films and documentaries being added to streaming platforms and cable channels. The skies continued to be filled with new music offerings too, from new singles and fresh albums to different ways to listen. Take a look at this cool collection of film and music billboards gracing L.A.'s April 2018 skies.

First up has to be Avengers: Infinity War, which probably features the most super-heroes brought to life on the big screen together in any film to date, to battle 'Thanos' and his invading alien hordes.

If you're a fan of Earth's Mightiest Heroes (and the Guardians of the Galaxy), make sure you check out all the other cool character billboards for Avengers: Infinity War filling L.A.'s streets and skies this month.

Speaking of superheroes and Marvel's Merc with the Mouth, Deadpool, is back for his cinematic sequel after his 2016 box office smash, bringing along new friends like 'Cable' and 'Domino'.

This May it will also be time to venture to a galaxy far, far away with another Star Wars prequel adventure delving into the history of 'Han Solo', 'Lando Calrissian' and 'Chewbacca', with Alden Ehrenreich playing the titular hero instead of Harrison Ford.

Amy Schumer was back this April with her new comedy, I Feel Pretty, about an insecure woman who bumps her head and thinks she's a supermodel when she wakes up.

Now to be outdone, Melissa McCarthy returns in May with her new film Life of the Party, about a middle-aged mother who goes to back to college to get her degree after being divorced.

Meanwhile another comedy hoping to bring the laughs this May is the movie remake of Overboard, this time starring Eugenio Derbez and Anna Faris instead of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn in the 1987 original.

Plus more funny business is on the way in the form of Book Club, about four aging lifelong friends whose lives are changed by reading Fifty Shades of Grey.

From four female leads to eight, and the all-women crime caper spin-off, Ocean's 8, starring the likes of Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway.

In the world of streaming originals, Netflix is back with more fresh new films, including the new wedding comedy from Adam Sandler starring opposite Chris Rock, The Week Of.

Things were upside-down along the Sunset Strip to draw attention to Ariana Grande's new song, No Tears Left To Cry.

Pop band Timeflies was trying to dream big and not responsibility with their new album To Dream.
