This month Emmy consideration billboards continued to flood the city skyline hoping to grab the attention of TV Academy voters this June 2018. Here's a collection of Emmy FYC billboards for all your favourite dramas, comedies, talk shows, documentaries and reality television series. To be honest in ten years living here, I've never seen this many FYC billboards gracing the city skyline.
Emmy consideration billboards
FX is usually first out of the gate with its Emmy FYC billboards, but this year it held back its support for the sixth and final season of The Americans. I wonder if this was a clever strategy, to save the best for last and cut through the clutter for the 80s Russian sleeper spy drama. Personally I hope that the show takes home some accolades as this was a brilliant last season and spectacular series finale.Another show I hope gets some nominations this year is the returning sitcom, Will & Grace, back for a ninth season after all these years in a time when we need laughs and LGBT visibility and advocacy more than ever. Even better, the gang is still as funny as ever.
Another NBC offering hoping for some Emmy consideration this month was the Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert special with this giant-sized billboard along the Sunset Strip for the rock opera starring John Legend, Sara Bareilles and Alice Cooper.
Another huge TV favourite of mine, RuPaul's Drag Race, was getting some Emmy support along Melrose Avenue with these billboards and display of main stage costumes for the tenth season of the reality drag competition.
These FYC ads were followed by some billboards for the new Jersey Shore: Family Vacation reality MTV series.

Tracy Morgan was back on episodic TV this past year in The Last O.G., and these TBS Emmy FYC billboards were highlighting the comic and co-star Tiffany Haddish in this new comedy.

Plus the second season of TBS comedy Search Party also had this clever email-themed Emmy consideration billboard along the Sunset Strip this June.
Netflix continued to support its wide offering of original shows and mini-series with Emmy FYC billboards this June, including ad creatives for talent like David Harbour in Stranger Things 2.
The Western limited series Godless received another billboards this month, this time for Michelle Dockery, in addition to all the ads for Jeff Daniels for the same show.
The streaming service really does have a wide array of programing to support, from documentary series like Wild Wild Country to dramas, comedies and stand-up specials.
If you like wall mural ads like this one for the first season of wrestling dramedy GLOW and now that voting has closed, be sure to check out all these 2018 Netflix Emmy consideration billboards.
This June National Geographic was also shining a spotlight on its Alaskan reality series Life Below Zero for its ninth season with this billboard.
In the world of late-night talk shows, CBS was hoping that The Late Late Show with James Corden could garner some Emmy attention for its third season.
Plus they were also campaigning for his Snapchat short form series, James Corden's Next James Corden, in which he interviews prospective future hosts (not that he's going anywhere soon).
Meanwhile Stephen Colbert was making light of these dark times with this witty Emmy FYC billboard for The Late Show.
HBO was rotating and adding new ad creatives to its 2018 Emmy consideration campaign this month, including this billboard for the Elvis Presley documentary, The Searcher.
HBO usually has one of the biggest Emmy FYC outdoor campaigns, but this year Netflix seemed to beat them in terms of sheer volume for all its original programming.
The second season of legal drama, The Good Fight, and its star Christine Baranski was boldly campaigning in Hollywood this month.
Plus TNT was really pushing its period thriller The Alienist and hoping to garner some Emmy nominations for its stars, Dakota Fanning, Daniel Bruhl and Luke Evans.
Lifetime was supporting its original telemovies with strong female characters, like Catherine Zeta-Jones in Cocaine Godmother: The Griselda Blanco Story and Queen Latifah in Flint.
A&E was trying to attract some Emmy interest in its reality television offerings like previous winner, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, back for a sophomore season.
IFC was providing some fun Emmy FYC ads for its sporty comedy Brockmire with Hank Azaria.
And Comedy Central was trying to garner Emmy nominations for shows like Another Period, This Is Not Happening, Nathan for You, Broad City and the debut season of The President Show, poking fun at the Liar-in-Chief.
If you liked this eclectic collection of Emmy consideration ad creatives, be sure to also check out all these other 2018 Emmy FYC billboards standing out in L.A.'s streets and skies these past few weeks.
