July 2019's eye-catching TV billboards standing out in L.A.'s summer skies...

Aside from all the movie, music, fashion, beauty and lifestyle billboards turning heads in L.A. this month, there's also been the usual deluge of TV show billboards trying to grab passersby attention this July 2019. Enjoy this collection of new seasons, new shows and series celebrating their Emmy nominations in the city skyline this month.

First up is this billboard for the sophomore season of The Terror anthology series, subtitled Infamy, which shifts the supernatural horror to Japanese internment camps during World War II.

Another series mixing the supernatural with sci-fi this month was the third season of Netflix's Stranger Things.

This Fourth of July saw the return of the Duffer Brothers fan-favourite show as they took over the Sunset Strip with all these amazing Stranger Things 3 billboards.

And speaking of Stranger Things, David Harbour was living his best life this month with starring roles in that show and his Netflix Playhouse Featurette, Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein.

Speaking of beloved series, Netflix's Orange Is the New Black was back for its seventh and final season with this fan created key art.

The streaming giant was also shining an outdoor spotlight on the third season of Dear White People at the end of July.

Plus it was teasing the sophomore season of its crime drama Mindhunter, set in the late 1970s and 80s at the dawn of the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit.

Fab film and music billboards filling July 2019's L.A. skyline...

This July the sprawling city skies have been filled with summer blockbusters and family fun, plus billboards for new release songs, albums, playlists and tours. Here's a snapshot of the movie and music billboards turning heads around Tinseltown this month.

First up is this eye-catching billboard for the live-action adaptation of Dora the Explorer with a 3D title to help the film to stand out even more along the crowded Sunset Strip.

More fun for kids comes this August courtesy of The Angry Birds Movie 2, the second big screen installment in the game-turned-film franchise.
