A cornucopia of TV billboards gracing L.A.'s April 2020 skies...

One thing's for sure this month, whether you stream content, watch online, or via cable, satellite or broadcast networks, television has been keeping us all entertained whilst we stay safe in our homes. Here's a smorgasbord of TV show billboards, old favourites and fresh entries, filling the streets and skies of Los Angeles this April 2020.

Modern Family final episodes billboard
First up it was time to bid a found farewell to the mockumentary sitcom, Modern Family, this month after eleven seasons of laughs.
Baker and the Beauty series premiere billboard
This April ABC was also offering up some romantic drama with the U.S. remake of The Baker and the Beauty.
Bachelor Listen to Your Heart billboard
Plus it was trying to expand The Bachelor dating show franchise with Listen to Your Heart, where couples go on dates inspired by music.
One Day at a Time season 4 billboard
PopTV was rescuing rebooted family sitcom One Day At A Time for its fourth season, after Netflix cancelled the comedy.
Vida final season 3 billboard
Starz Latinx drama Vida was also back for a third and final season this month, channeling Mexican artist Frida Kahlo in its key art.
Good Fight season 4 billboard
On CBS All Access, Christine Baranski's lawyer 'Diane Lockhart' was back to wage The Good Fight for a fourth compelling season (it's so good).

Netflix was all in for the third season of its money laundering drama Ozark, starring Laura Linney and Jason Bateman.

For more teen romance and treasure-hunting mystery drama, Netflix was also streaming the new series, Outer Banks.

And Ryan Murphy was delivering his second Netflix show, Hollywood, a mini-series with a more diverse look at Tinseltown's Golden Era.

This month Cate Blanchett was looking iconic in this key art for the 1970s feminist period drama, Mrs. America, for FX on Hulu.
What We Do in the Shadows season 2 billboard
What We Do in the Shadows was also back for a second season of vampire comedy this April.

Hulu was also adapting Sally Rooney's 2018 romantic novel, Normal People, for the small screen.

Showtime's Penny Dreadful was getting a supernatural sequel this spring with City of Angels, set in pre-WWII L.A. with Natalie Dormer as a trouble-making, shape-changing demon.

Zombie drama The Walking Dead was set to get another spin-off this month, but then World Beyond was moved until later in the year due to the coronavirus.

Merritt Wever and Domhnall Gleeson were ready to Run and becoming giant-sized for their new HBO comedy thriller.

The premium cabler was also dipping its toe into reality TV with the new drag queen makeover show,  We're Here, featuring three RuPaul's Drag Race alums.

Tyler Perry's The Oval soapy drama was getting its own spin-off series this month with this special extension cut-out billboard for Ruthless, a drama about a religious sex cult.
Showtime's docu-series Outcry was another show that fell foul of the virus, as the five-part sports documentary about high school football star Greg Kelley has been pushed back until later this year.

The network was also reviving documentary series Vice for a seventh season, with the first six seasons having aired on HBO.

Aside from shutting down the production of new shows, the coronavirus is sure to impact the entertainment industry's annual awards shows, like the Emmys.

Undeterred, Amazon Prime Video continues to champion the third season of its hit period comedy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, with this special FYC marquee billboard installation in Hollywood.

The streaming platform was also supporting its rookie Nazi-hunting drama, Hunters, in the city skyline this April.

Phew, as you can see there's more than enough TV to watch as you hunker down and wait for a scientific cure and informed, strategic response to this virus.
